Equity-oriented rates used

  • STCG (≤ 12 months) Tax rate: 20% of gains (equity-oriented).
  • LTCG (> 12 months) Tax rate: 12.5% on gains above ₹1,25,000.
  • Important Surcharge/cess, exemptions, and special cases aren’t included (kept simple).
